VCC won the toss and elected to bat on a wonderful cricket day at VOC. The VCC openers Rama (20) and Faisal (64) started brightly, but her fo the day was Kaushal Marthi after Rama was dismissed. Kaushal batted the best innings of his club career and smashed 124*. After his with Faisal (who also batted very well with 64), Habib (7) and Prem (36) added some runs to take VCC to a good total of 264.
VOC started their innings and wickets kept falling at regular intervals…. VCC bowled good line and length and VOC were unable to keep up with the required run rate. Soon asking rate was getting out of their reach and they were bowled out on 230.
VCC won by 34 runs.
