Viv Kingma (coach), Alejo Nota, Cedric de Lange, Tom de Leede and Aarav Swaroop (pictured left to right) scored great cricket victories in Denmark in 2024 with the Dutch junior cricket team under 18. In fact, they were so successful that in 2025 they will be allowed to try a level higher. From July 29 to August 7, 2025 they will play in Scotland against Jersey, Italy, Guernsey, Denmark and the host country. At stake is nothing less than a ticket to the World Cricket Championship for players under 19. That will be held in Zimbabwe in early 2026. For this, the ten top nations plus the host nation have already qualified. Five tickets are up for regional champions from Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas and East Asia-Pacific.
