As of 19 May, more flexible Corona measures will apply. Unfortunately, that does not mean that everything is allowed again. Until further notice, the following rules apply to VCC, in line with the NOC * NSF protocol:
Anyone up to the age of 26 can play sports anywhere in a team without having to observe a distance of 1.5 meters. Matches with teams from your own association are allowed, but the competition has come to a standstill. Audience may not be present.
People aged 27 and over are allowed to play sports outside in a team, at a distance of one and a half meters and in groups with a maximum of thirty people. Competitions and public are not allowed, canteens, showers and changing rooms are closed.
Those are the basic rules. And we stick to that, although we cannot always explain them. And even if the board would like nothing more than to facilitate a (practice) game. After all, with cricket there is plenty of space, etc., etc. But now we prefer to stick to the rules for a while, rather than having to close down or run the risk of heavy fines. Or worse, that we become a Corona fireplace.
For the practical implementation:
- you adhere to the basic rules of social distancing (1.5 mt), wash hands and stay at home when you are sick
- for training you come 5 minutes before the start and afterwards you go home immediately
public or parents are not allowed - during matches of VCC 1 (men or women) no audience is allowed on the complex; if you think you have a role, or if you have been asked to play a role, report this to Floris de Lange (contestsecretaris@voorburgcc.nl). There will be a list in the clubhouse of people who have subscribed during matches of VCC 1, the clubhouse is open and only available for the tested athletes and the limited staff on the complex
