What are we going to do?
After the great success of the first edition, we are organizing Friday Family Cricket again this year! With a mutual competition, French fries afterwards and a wonderful start to the weekend for the parents who can enjoy drinks and a meal to celebrate the start of the weekend, while the children cricket and play with friends.
What is the program
The outdoor cricket season has started again and then, of course, the FFC starts; a mutual competition in teams with friends, for children between the ages of 6 and 12, coached by players from older teams (U13, U15 and U17). From May 10 to July 12, the start of summer vacation, this fun family evening will be organized.
After the matches, all children can stay for a nice meal (€4.50 per meal), because a cricket match makes you hungry. A meal will also be ready for parents (€10 per meal), so the children will have some time to continue practicing once the French fries are gone. (and parents have time to quietly “slide” into the weekend). The clubhouse will be open at 5 p.m. when the children take the field, and the meal will be served following the games, at approximately 6:30 p.m.
For whom
All youth members born after September 1, 2012 (i.e., who may still play in the U11 this year).
If friends are wondering why you are running all day with that run-up dangerously waving and mowing your arms through the room, across the schoolyard, across the hockey/soccer field or down the street and that doesn’t even stop on your bike, take them along and let them sign up for our FFC; in a fun and child-friendly way in 10 weeks get acquainted with cricket and enjoy a wonderful sporty summer (for non-members an introductory membership applies: 10 Fridays = €50)
