Over the past few months, two VCC U11 teams participated in the annual Flamingo tournament in Utrecht. It was a tough and challenging tournament, with strong opponents and exciting matches.
Both VCC U11-1 and VCC U11-2 showed their worth. The commitment, team spirit and sportsmanship splashed off. VCC U11-1 was rewarded with a nice third place, while VCC U11-2 fell just outside the prizes, but left a rock solid impression.
Kampong walked away with the win in the end, but VCC clearly showed themselves. A great performance by all our young players who have been training and playing hard over the past few months.
Big thanks to all the coaches and scorers for their guidance, and especially to Olivier van Thuijl for coordinating the VCC effort at both the U11 and U13.
