Noah Croes to return to VCC

It was written in the stars already that Noah Croes would one day return to VCC. Unfortunately, the Covid years put a spanner in the wheel when this was planned for in 2020/2021. This year club and player have found each other again.

Noah (now 23) played two seasons in the UK, but could not resist the call when VCC asked whether he’d be willing to come back to Westvliet. Noah was part of the team in 2019 when VCC returned to the Topklasse. In 16 matches he scored 522 runs at an average of almost 35 (highest score 107). Moreover, as a wicketkeeper, he took 17 catches and managed 3 stumpings.

Noah is looking forward to his return: “I am so happy to be back at VCC this year! I’m so keen to get around the club and see everyone again. I’ve had a lot of cool cricketing experiences since my last time at Westvliet and I feel like I come back a better player.
2019 was an amazing experience but I definitely think I can help contribute and hopefully be part of a team that wins the Topklasse this season! I’ve been following from afar and it looks like we’ve got the team and the support around us to achieve something special which makes me incredibly excited.”
