The 25-year-old all-rounder has decided to trade Craeyenhout for Westvliet. He wants to see if he can develop further by playing more regularly on a grass wicket and becoming a regular choice in the Dutch men’s team.
Ryan had a nice part in HBS’s accomplishments last year. The bowling all-rounder took 25 wickets in the Top League last season and contributed just under 300 runs to HBS’ tally in the regular and playoff stages. VCC and Ryan were already in contact for the 2020 season, but Covid made sure his VCC debut never happened. Ryan on his expectations for the 2023 season: “I am looking forward to joining VCC and contributing to the club both on and off the field. It is a top club to play at and I am excited to be part of the team and continue my development as a cricketer at VCC!”
