The T20 Final Day of cricket is what the KNVB Cup Final is for football. One of the highlights of the season and a time when prizes can be won. For the second year in succession, Voorburg Cricket Club has been awarded the organisation of this Final’s Day. Both semifinals and the final will be played at Westvliet sports park on Saturday September 5.
Despite the belated start of the cricket season, the cricket clubs in the two highest classes of the national leagues have almost finished the preliminary rounds in four regional groups. HBS and VCC already qualified for the quarterfinals in the “The Hague” pool. In the other groups, the decision will be made this Friday. After that, the draw will take place for the quarter-finals that will be played on Friday evening August 28 and Saturday afternoon August 29.
Final’s Day Saturday, September 5
The Final’s Day of the T20 will take place at the VCC ground. The square of VCC is looking beautiful this summer and the excellent wicket is expected to guarantee spectacular finals. In addition, the club has all the necessary facilities and an enthusiastic volunteers to organize this event in a safe way in order to comply with the Covid-19 measures.

Mandatory registration of spectators
Spectators who want to visit the final day are very welcome. However, one must register on the KNCB website to gain access to the site. The maximum number of spectators for the day is because of the Covid-19 situation is set at 500.
