From April 30 – May 2 VCC will organise a VCC Tour for juniors (8-15 years) to the UK. This year our accommodation will be in Ashford. We’ll be staying at Kingswood, Grosvenor Hall, Cemetery Lane, Kennington, Kent, Ashford, UK. We’ll be fully catered during our stay.
On Thursday morning (9am) we’ll leave in 9-person vans and drive to Calais, where we’ll cross the North Sea by train via the Tunnel. When we arrive in Dover it will take us 40 mins to get to Kingswood.
In the afternoon we’ll play a cricket match (T20) and afterwards relax at Kingswood, which will offer plenty of possibilites for some activity on Friday, before we’ll play our second match in the afternoon.
Saturday we’ll pack up, drive to the venue where we’ll play a 3rd match, before returning home. We will arrive late at night back in Voorburg.
Currently (Feb 25) we have some 20 kids and 13 parents interested and we have space for more, it is an unforgettable experience at the start of the cricket season!
