Dear VCC supporters,
The VCC Club of 100 supports and enables VCC youth coaching and training.
The 2022 season was again positive and successful for VCC. We would like to look back with you:
- Our women’s team was again national champion in the 40-over league in 2022, but also in the T20 league this year. A major achievement to which our self-trained players made important contributions.
- As in 2021, VCC 1 reached the national final in 2022. Unfortunately, HCC turned out to be slightly stronger.
- VCC 2 (with a lot of homegrown players) became champions and will play in the Hoofdklasse league in 2023, the second highest level in the Netherlands.
- For the first time in years, there was no national champion among the youth; all the more reason to offer our youth teams the coaching and training they deserve!
- Bas de Leede, who grew up at VCC, signed a contract with Durham in England.
- The indoor practice nets not only ensure that our players can train all year round. It has also become VCC’s main source of income. That provides money to invest in further improvements!
In 2023 we want to further develop the youth cricketers skills. Our qualified youth coaches (including Tim de Leede, Viv Kingma, Marc Nota, Steffen Mulder and David Cousins) guarantee this.
With your help and support we would like to make VCC even better, stronger and more inclusive.
We are very grateful if you want to contribute to this goal!
You can do so on IBAN: NL34ABNA0967776902 in the name of ‘P. de Leede inzake Club van 100’ in Leidschendam (ABN Amro Bank Leidschendam-Voorburg).
We sincerely hope that we will soon see and speak to you again at the VCC cricket ground.
Best regards,
Tim and Patrick de Leede
