U11 Flamingo Tournament – First round

The VCC U11-Team 2 participating with: Victor, Swayam, Mohammed, Luqe, Joshua, Jeremy and Alex started their first match against HTCECA/ECC. An exciting game which had a kind of unfortunate start for VCC. HTCECA/ECC had a very strong first bowler and that cost us some wickets. However the VCC-team was able to compensate in de middle and endpart of the game. Unfortunately it was not enough to win the match, we lost 66-81. The second match was against Kampong and went much better. The team got more and more used to eachother and had good spirits. This game we won with 92-73. The last game was against QuiVive. This one we won also, 80-70! You could see the team growing in their role and the communication between eachother went better and better. Well done, lads! Thanks to the excellent coaching and scoring from Tom de G and Sander we can rely on a good starting position for the rest of the tournament. We wish Team 1 all the best in round 2 and 3!
