beautiful day of sunshine greeted the VCC U12 team made up of Michael, Sidd, James, Jamieson, Thomas and Aarav when they arrived Weesp for the first weekend of the Flamingo tournament. Game 1 v VRA. VCC made 73 without losing any wickets. Jamie 18 and Thomas 13 top scored. VRA made 45 for the loss of 5 wickets for net 30 score. Aarav was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets. Game 2 v ACC. VCC made 67 for the loss of 3 wickets for net score of 58. James 18 and Mike 13 top scored. ACC made 43 for loss of 9 wickets for net 16 score. Jamie taking 4 wickets and 2 each for Thomas and Sidd. Game 3 v MOP. VCC made 90 runs for the loss of 3 wickets for net score of 81. Aarav 26 and Jamie 21 top scorers. MOP made 45 for the loss of 3 wickets for net score of 36. 1 wicket each to Aarav, James and Jamieson. Game 4 v VRA. VCC made 71 for the loss of 5 wicket for net score of 56. Aarav 25 and Mike 19 top scorers. VRA scored 52 for the loss of 5 wickets for net score of 47. 4 wins from 4 games to VCC! Congratulations to the boys who all played a very high standard of cricket, taking some brilliant catches. They did our Club proud.
